The girls had a great time. They loved swimming and Abbie had the best time at the beach. She loved the waves and jumping in the water. She kept asking to go in and just screamed with excitement.
The first day there were 10 kids ages ranging from 1 year to 7 years. It was a little crazy!
At night, Kylie, Abbie and Kevin went out side to catch lightening bugs. Chris gave them each a flashlight and they had a container to hold the bugs. Kevin saved one and named it Bob. He even slept with the container. It must have been a late night, because the next morning, Bob was very tired and "slept" all day.
We swam in the pool both days. Abbie was able to reach the bottom of the pool and kept trying to walk into the deep end. She has no fear. Kylie was able to walk out further then Abbie, but she stayed within her limits. She did eventually find her comfort and courage and tried to swim on her own a few times.
It was nice to spend time with my girls and my friends. It was a great mid-week getaway!
