On Thursday night, Kylie lost her first tooth. It has been loose for weeks. When I picked her up from my mom's house Thursday after work, she told me that she wanted me to pull her tooth out with my tweezers. I guess that my mother told her that she will probably be able to whistle through the hole once her tooth falls out. She pulled and wiggled that tooth all afternoon long. A few times she asked me to try to pull it out, but her tooth was too small and it was hard to get a good grip on.
At about 8:00 pm Kylie told me that she wanted me to pull it out and did not care how much it hurt, so I just yanked and it came out! She was so excited!
Needless to say, she CANNOT whistle through the hole, but she really looks cute!
At bed time, she said that she did not want to give up her tooth to the tooth fairy. She slept with in a baggie on her pillow. She was very upset the next morning when there was nothing under her pillow and the tooth was gone! Luckily, we did locate the tooth on her floor. Last night she slept with her tooth again, but daddy wrote a note to the tooth fairy letting her know that Kylie lost her tooth, but wants to keep it for now.
She woke me up this morning with a big toothless smile and $1 left my the tooth fairy. (I bet she would have gotten more if she let the tooth fairy take the tooth!)
