It's official! Kylie is a Kindergartner!
Yesterday was Kylie's first day of school. I rode the bus with her to school to meet her new teacher, meet the kids in her class and see her new school and classroom. It was very exciting.
Kylie was very excited to see that her friend Jordan from gymnastics was in her class. She know that they were going to the same school, but did not know that they would be in the same class. Her teacher, Mrs. Conn is very nice and read them a story on the first day. They also made a book box to keep at home. The have their own mail boxes and need to check in on the door every morning. Each child did a hand print on the wall and wrote their names under their hand.
Kylie was a little nervous on the bus on the ride home because she was afraid that she would not know when it was her stop. Luckily, the bus driver calls the kids names at each stop. She will do this the whole year.
Kylie is excited to go back to school on Monday. I think that it will be a great year for her. I am very comfortable with her school and teacher. Hopefully we will have no worries or concerns!
