The 4th of July is one of my 2 favorite holidays!
On the 3rd we took the train downtown for the city of Chicago's fireworks. We stayed in a hotel with Brian's family. We swam, ate and then watched the fireworks from the 40th floor of the building. It was a fun and safe way to take the kids to see Chicago's fireworks. They loved running around from room to room with their cousins, acting crazy until the wee hours of the light!
It was also the kids first time on a train. They had a great time. Kylie told me that it was a good "vacation".
Today, me & Brian took the kids to the carnival. They rode some rides and played games. Then we met my sister and her husband for the Oak Forest fireworks. It has been a pretty busy 2 days!
