Today I chaperoned a field trip for Kylie's class to the Field Museum. Her class is learning about Dinosaurs so we went there to see Sue.
I was supposed to have Kylie and 2 other girls, but one did not come so it was me, Kylie and her friend Makayla. Some of the parents had 4 kids in their group so I had it pretty easy.
We were able to explore the museum on our own and had lunch at McDonalds.
Kylie's favorite things were Sue's head, the Mammoth, all of the skeletons and the "naked dude" Lucy.
At the end of the trip, we had to wait for the bus for a 1/2 an hour. Then when if finally came, we had to run about 1 block in the poring rain to the bus. Very exciting for the kids.
It was a fun, but tiring day.
I cannot wait to go back with Brian and the girls and spend more time there exploring!!

You think you were tired! It's worse for the teacher! We look forward to field trip days, but when they're actually here we dread them because we know it will be exhausting!
